Mars Area School District has released the results of a recent fundraiser for charity.
Students at the Mars Area Centennial School raised nearly $1,400 to benefit local families in need through a “Deck Your Door” contest.
Students in fifth and sixth grades made donations in order to be able to decorate classroom doors in various holiday themes.
The classroom that collected the largest amount was able to enjoy a special lunch and movie time.
