The body of a woman has been found in a residence in downtown Butler.
The discovery occurred Tuesday at a home on Howard Street.
According to Butler City Police Chief Bob O’Neill, the woman’s identity has not been released pending notification of family but the death is not considered suspicious at this time.
The body was found by a mailman and appears to have been deceased for about a week according to the coroner.
