The deadline to register to vote in the upcoming presidential election next month is Tuesday in Pennsylvania.
The Nov. 8 ballot includes a competitive race for U.S. Senate that pits Republican incumbent Pat Toomey against Democratic challenger Katie McGinty. All of Pennsylvania’s 18 seats in the U.S. House and all 203 seats in the state House are also up this year, along with half of the 50-member Senate.
The registration deadline affects anyone registering to vote for the first time or wishing to make changes to his or her existing registration status.
You can register online at register.votesPA.com, visit the Butler County Election Office inside the Butler County Government Center (behind the courthouse) or mail an application to the election office (it must be postmarked by today).
A blank voter registration form is available at register.votesPA.com.
