Monday is the deadline for eligible Pennsylvania residents to change their political party affiliation or register to vote in the April 26 primary.
Pennsylvania has a closed primary, so voters must register as a Democrat or Republican to cast a vote in the presidential primary contest. Independents and other nonpartisan registered voters will be able to vote for two proposed amendments to the state constitution.
To register to vote, change party affiliation or update a home address or name, visit register.votesPA.com. Voters can also register and make changes by mail or by visiting the Butler County Bureau of Elections inside the Butler County Government Center in downtown Butler.
