Today is the deadline to apply for a mail-in ballot, but Pennsylvania’s top election official is urging those voters to get their ballots in as soon as possible.
Secretary of State Leigh Chapman says that over 800,000 people have requested a mail-in ballot for this spring’s primary election—including an estimated 10,000 here in Butler County.
But, she says the ballots need to be in by 8 p.m. on May 17th so she is encouraging voters to mail the ballots in as soon as possible.
In Butler County, voters can also turn their mail-in ballots in at the county’s election office inside the government center.
