The federal government is once again extending the deadline for air travelers to get a REAL ID.
The Department of Homeland Security is delaying the move until May 2025. This is now the third time the government has pushed back the deadline.
A federal law passed a couple of years ago that required all domestic air travelers and those entering federal buildings to have a REAL ID. You can get a REAL ID by visiting the PennDOT drivers license and photo center.
