We moved the clocks up an hour earlier this week, but that may be the last time that happens in the foreseeable future.
The U.S. Senate voted unanimously to make daylight saving time permanent. That means come November, we would not get that extra hour of sleep.
The bill, known as the Sunshine Protection Act, needs to be approved by the U.S. House and then signed into law by President Joe Biden.
