The Pittsburgh Penguins made several roster moves on Saturday, which was the first day of free agent signing in the National Hockey League.
Leaving the Penguins as free agents include center Nick Bonino (four-year deal with Nashville), forward Chris Kunitz (one-year deal Tampa Bay), defenseman Trevor Daley (three-year deal with Detroit), defenseman Ron Hainsey (two-year deal with Toronto)
The Penguins also resigned defenseman Justin Schultz (three-year deal). Some of the new free agents joining the Penguins include defeseman Matt Hunwick (three-year deal), and 33-year-old goalie Antti Niemi.
