According to our news partners at WPXI television, U.S. Senate candidate Dave McCormick conceded to Dr. Mehmet Oz on Friday evening.
This follows more than 2 weeks of recounts and court battles between the U.S. Senate Republican primary candidates. With McCormick conceding, Dr. Oz will be on the ticket in November.
McCormick says he is in full support of Dr. Oz in the race against Democratic nominee Lt. Gov John Fetterman.
“With so much at stake and that margin so razor-thin, we’ve spent the last 17 days making sure every Republican vote was counted in a way that would result in the will of Pennsylvania voters being fulfilled,” McCormick said.
The U.S. Senate election will take place on November 8th, 2022.
