A GoFundMe account has been set up to assist the family of a Butler man found dead on Labor Day inside a parked van.
Timothy Kerr, 47, was found dead inside a van parked in a lot on East Jefferson Street. Butler Township Police say Kerr’s body did not have any visible signs of injury or trauma. Officers are hoping toxicology results- which could take several weeks to come back- will provide details into what caused his death. Foul play is not suspected.
Tim’s daughter, Heather Kerr Brandon, set up the online fundraising account to assist with funeral expenses. She says her father’s death is especially hard because he just walked her down the aisle at her wedding on Saturday. He was found dead Monday.
