Charges have been filed once again against former Butler School Board member Bill Halle.
The charges are similar to the ones filed against Halle that were dismissed by a judge earlier this year. They stem from an alleged inappropriate relationship that Halle had with a teenager.
The case was thrown out by a judge after prosecutors could not prove that the victim in the case worked for Halle’s non-profit.
However, District Attorney Rich Goldinger says that “we have a new witness that closes a loophole that we believe caused the charges to be dismissed previously.”
Goldinger continued that “based on the statement of this witness, we feel we have more evidence that will withstand court scrutiny.”
