The Butler County District Attorney is asking local residents to check the dates on their medications this weekend when they set clocks back.
Daylight savings time is ending this weekend and Richard Goldinger is reminding residents that unused or expired medications can be abused or harmful if not disposed of correctly.
Nine medication collection boxes are located in municipal police departments throughout the county including the City of Butler, Butler Township, and Cranberry Township. Another collection box can be found in the lobby of the Butler County Government Center.
The collection boxes were made possible by a grant from the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association to the Butler County District Attorney’s Office.
