PIAA Baseball quarterfinals:2A:
–Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic defeated Conemaugh Township 5-0. Joe Alampi struck out 10 in a complete game victory. The Trojans will meet Rocky Grove in the Western Region final Monday.
5A:
–Marple Newtown eliminated Mars 6-1. They get West Allegheny in the Western Region final. Jack Anderson had a solo home run for the Planets, who end their season 16-7 overall.
6A:
–Canon-McMillan defeated North Allegheny 6-3 at Seton Hill University. Canon-Mac will meet Council Rock North in the Western Region final.
