High school musical season around the Butler County area continues this weekend with performances from a couple more local schools.
The Mars Area School District will stage “The Drowsy Chaperone” with 7:30 p.m. shows on Friday and Saturday, as well as a 1 p.m. matinee show Sunday in the Middle School Auditorium. Reserved seating tickets are $12 with more information on the Mars district’s website.
Students at South Butler School District will perform their annual musical “Newsies” this Friday and Saturday beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Knoch High School Auditorium along with a Sunday matinee at 2.
