The Pittsburgh Pirates lost to the Chicago Cubs 7-1 Sunday at PNC Park. The Cubs took two of three games in the series. Pirates starter Jameson Taillon allowed four earned runs on eight hits over five innings and took the loss. His record fell to 3-2. The Bucs managed just three hits in the game, as they saw their record fall to 31-38 overall. They find themselves six games behind first-place Milwaukee as they travel to meet the Brewers for a four-game series beginning tonight. First pitch is 7:40pm. Gerrit Cole will start for the Pirates. Pre-game on WISR 680am will be 7:15pm.
