The Chicago Cubs defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 6-4 last night at Wrigley Field to win their N.L. Divisional Series, and have advanced to the National League Championship Series. It is the third year in a row the National League Wild Card game winner has advanced to the NLCS. The Pirates did it in 2013. The San Francisco Giants ins 2014.
The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the New York Mets 3-1 and have forced a game five in that series.
