A local woman was killed Tuesday in a motorcycle crash in southern Butler County.
State Police in Butler say 63-year-old Donna Bachman of Butler was traveling north on Saxonburg Road in Jefferson Township about 12:20 p.m. when she lost control of her 1996 Honda Shadow cycle and crashed into trees.
The accident happened while Bachman was going around a slight curve approaching Burtner Road.
Bachman suffered severe head, back and body injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
