A building was destroyed at a Freeport golf course in a fire Thursday morning.
The blaze broke out just after 4:30 a.m. at the River Forest Country Club, which is just off of the Freeport Bridge in Allegheny Township, Westmoreland County.
Dispatchers say a maintenance building caught on fire. Crews were able to knock down the flames, but the fire destroyed the building.
It’s not known what started the fire, but no one was injured.
