Twenty five people have been displaced following a fire Wednesday at a downtown Butler building.
The fire started just before 4 p.m. at the multi-use building on East Jefferson Street. The building holds the China Palace Restaurant on the first floor and 14 apartments on the first and second floors.
No injuries have been reported.
Several fire departments were called in to help battle the blaze and had to close down a portion of West Jefferson Street for several hours. The Red Cross says they are providing food, clothing and temporary lodging to those affected.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
