Multiple fire departments responded to the scene of a structure fire in Bruin Borough Tuesday afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center around 2:30 p.m. for a basement fire at a house in the 200 block of Main Street in Bruin.
Crews from Chicora, Bruin, Petrolia, North Washington, Parker City, and Emlenton responded to the call. The fire was contained shortly after the first departments arrived on scene. No injuries were reported.
Several units were delayed in arriving on the scene due to equipment blocking a road. Crews remained at the house investigating the walls of the home after the fire was out. The extent of the damage and cause of the blaze is unknown at this time.
