Emergency responders in southern Butler County were busy with a couple of crashes Thursday afternoon.
The first call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly before 12:30 p.m. for an accident on Autumn Hill Drive in Cranberry Township. Crews showed up to find at least one person injured and entrapped. It took over a half hour to extricate the person who was then taken to UPMC Cranberry for further medical attention.
The second accident was reported shortly before 1 p.m. on Perry Highway in Jackson Township. Units from Harmony were among those responding to find a motorcyclist with road rash. It is unknown at this time if the motorcycle driver required transport to the hospital or further treatment.
More information about those crashes, including the cause, is unknown at this time.
