A home in Chicora caught fire Sunday night.
Firefighters from several departments were called to the house in the 500 block of North Main Street about 8:45 p.m.
Seven people lived inside the home- 2 adults and 5 children- and all safely escaped. The Red Cross is assisting them.
Crews battled the blaze for several hours and were called back out again early Monday morning for a possible rekindle.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
