Multiple fire departments responded to a barn fire in Middlesex Township Tuesday afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly before 3 p.m. for a barn fire near a trailer on Hornyak Lane in Valencia.
Crews from Middlesex Township were joined by those from Penn Township and Saxonburg along with tankers and manpower from Callery and Butler Township. Heavy smoke was visible at the scene.
At least one truck got stuck as it attempted to travel muddy road conditions to the fire. The cause of the fire and extent of damage are unknown at this time. No one is believed to have been injured.
