Power crews battled the treacherous conditions early Friday to restore service to about 40 residents in Penn Township.
Crews were sent to the 300 block of Mushrush Road between Dutchtown and Crisswell roads at 4:30 a.m. to deal with a downed tree and downed wires.
According to West Penn Power, 38 residents were initially affected.
All but 5 outages were restored in Penn Township by 8 a.m., according to West Penn.
