A fire broke out at a gas compressor station in Armstrong County on Monday.
It happened at the Peoples Natural Gas Company on Kennerdell Road in Rural Valley, east of Kittanning.
A witness described hearing a loud explosion before the fire started.
No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
