(11:45 a.m.) An accident at a busy intersection caused some traffic backups Monday morning.
The crash happened about 11 a.m. at the intersection of Route 68 (Chicora Road) and Route 38 (Oneida Valley Road) in Summit Township. Firefighters were on scene controlling traffic while crews cleaned up from the crash. The intersection remained open. No major injuries have been reported.
Crews were also called to a two-vehicle crash Monday morning in Butler City. The accident happened about 10:30 a.m. on East Cunningham Street. Again, no major injuries reported.
For there not to be any major injuries reported from such a crash is unheard of, and witnesses to the accident will be relieved to hear that everyone came away from this terrible ordeal safely.
However, the damage done to the vehicles involved is yet unknown, but knowing that there are no injuries should provide us with a rough idea. It’s also important to note that situations like this signify the importance of car insurance, and how looking into policies, similar to those at Auto-Owners Auto Insurance (read some of the auto owners insurance reviews here) can provide us with a lifeline should we find ourselves in a vehicle collision like this, regardless of how big or small it is.
It is lucky that no one was hurt in the accident and these types of collisions usually end up with someone going to the hospital. 40% of all accidents occur at intersections so drivers are being urged to take more care when entering and exiting intersections.
If you have been involved in a crash at an intersection then you may be able to get compensated for any injuries you have suffered because of it. If it wasn’t your fault and you feel you deserve compensation then you could visit somewhere like the Gruber Law Offices to see if a law firm can help you with your claim.
