No one was hurt in a weekend crash that sheared a utility pole in Summit Township.
The one-vehicle accident happened about 10 p.m. Saturday on Herman Road, near Schnur Road.
According to State Police in Butler, 26-year-old Stephen Bogan of Butler was traveling east when his Ford Excursion hit a utility pole on the side of the road. The pole was completely sheared in half.
Police say Bogan’s vehicle continued down an embankment, crashing through several small trees.
It’s unclear what caused Bogan to lose control. He was not injured.
