State police in Butler were called to the scene of a one car crash on New Years Eve.
This happened on Shields Road in Mercer Twp., Butler County around 10:30 p.m. The driver, 42-year-old Jason Callahan of Hilliards, PA crossed over the center line, struck a bridge off of the side of the road and rolled the car over.
Police say that Callahan was found to be under the influence of alcohol. As the Trooper attempted to arrest Callahan, a struggle ensued and he resisted. He was then transported to Butler Memorial Hospital for a minor leg injury.
Charges include DUI, resisting arrest, careless driving, driving on suspended license and a laundry list of other charges.
