Cranberry Township just received more good news about the municipality’s credit rating.
Moody’s Investors Service, which is a leading provider of credit ratings, upgraded Cranberry’s credit to the highest score the company issues.
The upgrade makes the township one of seven municipalities in the state and the only one in western Pennsylvania to be assigned that rating. It will allow Cranberry to access the best rates for future borrowing and refinancing.
