Volunteers in Cranberry Township are assembling bottles of hand sanitizer to be used by first responders.
Beginning Friday (today) at 1 p.m. nine volunteers will meet at the Township’s Public Safety Training Center to label, dispense, assemble, and pack nearly 500 personal sized spray bottles.
The township received 55 gallons of hand sanitizer from a local chemical company last month and recently located enough bottles and sprayers to distribute the liquid.
Those interacting with local residents will receive the sanitizer including Cranberry Township fire, police, and EMS personnel as well as other community workers.
