Cranberry Township is getting an early start on the holiday season this weekend.
Activities surround a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus to the Cranberry Township Municipal Center beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16.
This free event will include a group of live reindeer, live holiday music and refreshments. Santa will arrive around 7 p.m. on a specially decorated fire truck to throw a switch lighting the community tree on the center’s front lawn.
A Cranberry Township ambulance will be used as a Toys for Tots collection vehicle to accept new and unwrapped toy donations, which will be distributed to needy children by the Marine Corp. on Christmas Day.
2019 Cranberry Waterpark memberships will also be available for purchase at a special discounted price with a chance at one of three promotional baskets to be given away in January.
