The MSA Thruway project in Cranberry Township is officially moving forward after receiving approval from the township’s Board of Supervisors.
The $12 million project will connect Interstate 79 to the Cranberry Springs development by constructing a tunnel beneath Route 228, and will also connect to the Cranberry Woods development, which houses MSA.
The project is being named after MSA, which donated about $3.5 million of land for the project.
Construction is expected to being in the spring and be completed by the end of 2021.
