Cranberry Township residents are being asked to avoid using water for non-essential purposes until further notice.
According to township officials, there is a system issue with the West View Water Authority Baden treatment plant.
They say customers may notice decreased water pressure and that water may be discolored. If your water is discolored, officials advise to let a lower-level cold water tap run for one to two minutes until the water is clear.
Township officials add that the water continues to meet quality standards and is safe to use.
