Cranberry Township’s Volunteer Fire Company has received regional as well as statewide recognition.
The company was presented with awards for outstanding fire safety education programs during a recent Firemen’s Association of the State of Pennsylvania convention.
Cranberry’s program has been in place for over 20 years and last year held more than 100 events reaching over 7,000 people, including 4,000 children.
The company will receive a commemorative plaque as well as cash awards to support the programs being recognized.
