Criminal charges have been filed against 15 individuals across the state for insurance fraud, including a Butler County resident.
Amy Sue Millward, 36, of Cranberry is charged with two counts of insurance fraud following a vehicle accident earlier this year.
Authorities say Millward’s vehicle was uninsured when she crashed it. She then allegedly obtained two separate insurance policies for the vehicle, and submitted separate claims. She will appear in court in January.
The charges, for all 15 state residents, were the result of investigations by the Office of the Attorney General’s Insurance Fraud Section.
