Plans to construct a sidewalk between Rowan Elementary School and the Fox Run housing plan are moving forward in Cranberry Township.
At their meeting last week, the Cranberry Township Board of Supervisors decided to consider design services for the project from Pennoni Associates.
The service fee of nearly $28,000 would be covered through a state grant administered by PennDOT. The design study will take a closer look at utility, right of way, and environmental issues that could be encountered by a project to build a sidewalk in that area.
The board is expected to give the final go-ahead to the purchase award later this week.
