An event originally scheduled for this weekend in Cranberry has been cancelled.
Representatives from the Butler County Sheriff’s Office were planning to be at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center to accept or renew License to Carry Applications Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
However, according to Sheriff Mike Slupe, that event will no longer take place because the state’s license to carry system is currently down and there is no guarantee it will be back up anytime soon.
Additional dates of August 13th and October 8th are still scheduled to be held in Cranberry. This event is open to any Butler County resident.
