Cranberry Township is moving forward with a facility upgrade project.
The second phase of the township’s Municipal Center Rear Parking Lot Improvements project begins today and will continue through mid-November.
A redesign and expansion of the eastern half of the parking lot will include fencing off the rear police entrance and most of the rear sidewalk to allow for demolition and removal. The 911 Emergency Call Box will be moved from the Police Entrance to the Parks and Rec Entrance at the rear of the facility with temporary lighting and signage.
Future partial closures to other areas of the rear parking lot are anticipated as the entire rear parking lot will eventually be addressed.
