Cranberry Township is considering a change in their ordinance to allow alcoholic beverages in parks.
A revision to the code that currently bans such beverages will be considered by Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors on April 28.
If the revision is passed, alcoholic beverages would be allowed in designated areas of township parks as long as those consuming the alcohol had a permit.
No glass bottles or containers would be allowed under the revised ordinance.
