A local bridge is reopening to traffic Friday.
Thorn Hill Road Bridge in Cranberry will reopen at 1 p.m. after an existing steel girder bridge was replaced with a new concrete beam bridge.
The Joseph B. Fay Company of Russellton, PA completed the project, which included a concrete box culvert which carries Brush Creek under Thorn Hill Road.
Finally the turnpike partnered with Marshall Township officials to create a right turn lane from Thorn Hill Road onto Commonwealth Drive.
