Cranberry Township will begin a program Monday that officials believe will help better facilitate traffic.
Officials say “traffic signal optimization” will begin at 7 a.m. along Route 19, Route 228 and Freedom Road.
Drivers can expect new signal timings, changing signal phases for traffic at different times of the day and days of the week and better coordination with signals.
Motorists are urged to watch traffic signals for changing patterns.
Officials say this continues the township’s effort to optimize signal operations while considering safety and mobility.
