A popular restaurant is at the center of a new development planned for the Cranberry area.
A Cracker Barrel home-style restaurant and Country Store retail space, as well as a 102-room Element Hotel, are planned for nearly six acres off Route 228 at the site of the former ECHO restaurant.
The restaurant will become the first Cracker Barrel in Butler County. The Element Hotel will be six stories. It’s a brand owned by Marriott.
This project will also include streetscape enhancements along Longtree Way and connections to pedestrian walkways around Cranberry Woods.
Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors approved land development and conditional use applications at their meeting last week.
