Department of Health officials say there was an uptick in COVID vaccinations last month.
Data shows that the month of April had double the amount of COVID shots administered compared to March. Overall, there were more than 83,000 booster shots and nearly 300,000 second booster shots.
Here in Butler County, the Department of Health says around 116,000 people are fully vaccinated, with another 60,000 having received a booster shot.
However that number is most likely higher when factoring shots administered at the Butler VA and retail pharmacies.
