Butler County is setting aside funds to help with renovations to the newly created Butler Recovery Center.
This is the former Grace Youth and Family Foundation building on Center Avenue.
The county approved $338,000 for the center to help with start-up and operating costs, along with renovations to the building. The money comes from the statewide opioid settlement agreement.
The center will offer a variety of programming for those in the recovery community. County officials did say that no treatment will be offered at the center.
This batch of funding is expected to last through June.
