Area residents living in Butler City, Callery, Valencia, and West Sunbury are reminded that the final day to pay 2016 county real estate taxes is December 31st.
According to Butler County Treasurer Diane Marburger, tax payments from those living in these neighborhoods that are received in person on Friday, December 30th, or postmarked on December 31st will be honored at the penalty tax amount.
Residents are encouraged to pay the tax in person at the Treasurer’s office, located inside the Government Center on West Diamond Street, or to send their check to P.O. Box 1208, Butler, PA 16003. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
