Some public pools will open for the season this weekend.
The Cranberry Township Waterpark on North Boundary Drive will open on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. and remain open through Labor Day. Daily and season memberships are available for both township and non-township residents.
The EDCO Pool in Evans City will open Friday.
Alameda Waterpark in Butler Township will not open this weekend but instead wait until next. The pool is scheduled to begin its season on Saturday, June 3. Daily and season passes are available, including discounted passes for seniors, families and families with nannys.
