The deadline is approaching to submit applications in order to operate winter shelters for the homeless.
Butler County Human Services says that the deadline for submissions is next Monday.
There’s a list of minimum requirements to meet in order to operate a shelter, but one includes being able to house at least 20 individuals who are over 18.
