It could soon get easier to look up county real estate records.
Butler County Recorder of Deeds Michele Mustello is planning to do a $90,000 upgrade to the computer system that displays all of the county’s land records.
Mustello says the current system hasn’t been updated in 19 years. She says the upgrade would make it easier for the public to access real estate records- including deeds, mortgages and subdivision plans.
The county commissioners will vote on the matter next week.
