Partial closures at Alameda Park are beginning today.
According to the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department, all playground areas will be closed as well as bathroom facilities, picnic areas, road gates, and fenced areas.
All gathering points have been closed for the safety of residents during the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic. Anyone who is sick should stay home. Those still planning to visit the park area should follow all Department of Health and CDC guidelines.
All events, programs, and shelter rentals are cancelled through April 30th with possible rescheduling considered at a later date.
