A series of cooking classes for kids begins this weekend in Cranberry Township.
The Baker’s Dozen Academy will hold four monthly Saturday classes in the Cranberry Township Municipal Center. A session for kids ages five to eight runs from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., and another for ages nine through thirteen runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Each class features making a different holiday themed dessert while teaching kids math and listening skills. This Saturday’s treats include Valentine’s Day themed marshmallow and Oreo pops for the younger kids and a mousse-filled chocolate bowl for the older ones.
